26-50 of 100 things about J.D. Crow
The following is part 2 of 4 of a list of 100 things about me. T see the last 25 click the link on the sidebar or go here. I decided to write more of this because I felt competitive after Chris has two lists of 101. I mean how the fuck do you do that? In all seriousness though, here is the latest info on me, I hope you enjoy it. Have a happy Veterans day, I know I will I don't have to work. Please enjoy:
26. I am engaged, to Kelly M., and can't wait to get married (updated 10/20/2006)
27. I have no idea where I will be living after I get married, most likely here.
28. I am no longer a lonely (but I am still heterosexual) male.
29. I read astrology once in a while, because its nice to think about things, but I still know we have a lot more say over our lives.
30. I hope to have 1-15 Children, I want their names to possibly be boy= Liam, girl=Kaitlyn
31. After several years of never talking to my real father, he finally called me.
32. My Sister I never met, finally got in contact with me, and we have lots in common.
33. After living with my sister and her family, I realize that people do change with age, and that I love my family.
34. I was just about to quit my job and I got a promotion. This always happens to me.
35. I got in a car accident on September 10th 2005. It is the first one I was ever in. I am forever grateful no one was hurt more than me. I am still doing physical therapy, but it is going really well.
36. I threw away the outline for the book I am writing, because my writing has changed and I have a better story to write.
37. I've take a few IQ tests over the years, In 7th grade they scored me at post college level in everything but math. In highschool my IQ was 172-176, depending on the test. I take online test sometimes and I laugh because I get 125-145, because I rush too much. IQ doesn't do shit if your impatient. Read this article.
38. I am almost 23 years old, and I still haven't gone to college, I really do hope to soon. I have decided through all my years of never making a choice that I want to be a writer. I will probably major in English/History. I will teach Highschool if I can, but I will write a damn book before I die. I promise you that. (Update: I am in college on a minor basis, and I am a writer now)
39. I am happier since I stopped Hacking, and now I use my old school tricks to help me get my job done, or sometimes just to help people. I do wish I still had some contacts. It's so hard to find people without the right access anymore.
40. I just realized I've never made a to do list, for my life. Things I want to do before I die. Maybe I should, or maybe If I don't write it down and just do it, it wont really matter.
41. I said before I had all the "Angel" and "Buffy" DVD's, but I now have the "Firefly" Series, and I have half of the "Dark Angel" DVD series. I also have 4 out of 5 of the Angel: The Curse Comics, in First Edition I am getting the 5th soon, and ordering the Next series in advance. Jeff Mariotte who wrote them, is such a good man, he is going to sign them for me.
42. Since November of 2004 I have lost roughly 90+ pounds. After my accident I gained some back, but I am back down to 271, and I am on the road to a new regimen, and hopefully will loose more this next year, here's hoping for 90 more.
43. I have 3 shelves of books and I have read all of them at least once, sometimes twice. If I were to get all the books on my wishlist, I would need 8 more bookcases. But I think I could read them in less than a year. Maybe.
44. My favorite authors are: Laurell K. Hamilton, Jeff Mariotte, Kim Harrison, William Gibson, Malcom Gladwell, and a few others. My favorite Musicians are: Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan (early years), They are the lyrical poets I look up to. My favorite poets: E.E. Cummings, Ralph Waldo Emerson, William Earnest Henley, and all those nameless beat poets out there who inspire me.
45. I love food, and I love to cook. I always try something new everywhere I go, just to experience it. I don't often fall in love with a food, unless it's exceptional. Those foods are: Breakfast Burritos from Rosa's Cantina in Stanton, TX. Black Angus Sub w/mushrooms from Quiznos. Cheeseburger and Dr. Pepper from Stanton Drug. Smoked Beef brisket from my grandfather. Linguini with white clam sauce from Forunatos in Las Vegas. Chili Colorado, from an unknown Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. Beef Mongolian style w/mushrooms and baby corn from Pin Kaow, plus the Pad Thai too... I am hungry now.
46. I have had the same dream since I was 10 at least once a month. It's about my future. But the last 3 months, I haven't had it. I wonder if my futures has changed?
47. I've met more millionaires and Multi-millionaires in my life than actors or writers. I never act funny around either crowd, in fact they have my respect more than they have my fandom. I seek to learn from them more than just meet them. They are still people to me, and it helps me to focus on my goals, knowing I will reach that level sometime in my life.
48. My career path has been this: Fast food Slave > Computer Tech > Tech Support > Telephone Psychic > Internet Specialist > Advertiser > Web Designer > Shipping Clerk > Shipping Manager > Blueprints Analyzer > Hotel Clerk > Mailroom Manager > Developer/Web Design/Mailroom Manager > My future I will list "Paid Writer/Author". <- It does now
49. I hope to have at least one of my half sleeves done by next year if I can ever decide on what I really want. I need a good artist to help with the concept drawings.
50. I often wonder if more people will show up to my wedding or to my funeral. I want to be married outside, but I am willing to do it inside as long as I marry the woman I love. When I die, I want to be wrapped in a sheet, set atop a pile of wood and set on fire. I want everyone to have a party and rejoice around me, and to celebrate my death as an honorable one, of a man who led a good life and love the people around him. I want people to give their own speeches about me and what I meant to them. That my friends is a good way to die.
Peace, Love & (R)evolution
